Very proud of my buds at The Meat Hook whose sandwich shop was featured in a one-star review (that’s good!) in the New York Times this week. I know how hard these guys worked to get this place open and it’s nice to see it recognized on such a big platform. They’ve carved out a nice little space in Brooklyn’s culinary world by sticking to their core philosophy – that great ingredients, a little imagination and a positive attitude will always win people over. Based on their customer loyalty and bullet-proof reputation in the neighborhood I’d say they were right.
