Comfort of Strangers

I read The Comfort of Strangers in part to remind me of the trip my wife and I took to Venice last February but honestly I’ll take any excuse to read more Ian McEwan. This is his second novel and isn’t operating on the same level of later masterpieces like Atonement or Enduring Love but is still another strong effort from one of the world’s premier writers.
