Jenny and I were in Amagansett for the weekend and decided to check out the new Parrish Art Museum designed by Herzog & de Meuron (her favorite architects) on our way home. The massive, single-floor museum sits on a big piece of land just off the highway. Its unique location offers some interesting possibilities for large-scale or even outdoor work. The interior is thoughtful, inventive and full of great details. It seems like the art is still a work in progress but the painting below was a highlight for me.
