I paid a visit to Good Records NYC yesterday, a cozy little shop on E 5th Street with a nice, curated collection and plenty of bargain bins for the real diggers. With other shops like The Sound Library and Big City Records closing just this week, it’s nice to see places like this keep their head above water. You simply can’t duplicate the experience of flipping through records with a mouse-click mission on eBay or Discogs so if you care about the record store experience you have to support spots like this before they’re all gone for good.
